Celebrates Birthday
Congratulations go to Mrs. Syl-
vanus Witmer of town, who on Eas-
ter Sunday celebrated her 70th birth -
.day. The day was fittingly observed
';for the occasion. All their children
and grandchildren being present. A
very elaborate birthday, with the us-
ual candles adorned the table in the
attractive dining, room. Mrs... Wit-
mer's .many friends wish her the very
best inlife that she may enjoy many
more such occasions.
Attended Hockey Game
Messrs. Bob Mittleholtz, Bob Mc-
Kinley, Fred Haberer Jr., and John
Robinson attended the hockey game
between Montreal and the Toronto
Maple Leafs in Toronto on Saturday
evening. It being a very interesting
experience. They arrived early in the
morning And had to stand in line for
five hours before they were able to
get their tickets for the evening game
With their win on Tuesday evening,
the Leafs have a big edge on the Mon
treal team, having won three out of
