LIONS AT BAYF'IELD
On Tuesday -evening some sixteen
members of the Zurich Lions Club
Motored to Bayfield to sponsor a Club
in that Village, as there seems to be
.enough good working materiel there
to organize a ,Club. Some of the
Higher officials in Lionism were pres-
ent. and a new Club is being formed
in Bayfield; with Zurich Club as its
sponsor or parent -Club. We hope
this new organization will bloom into
a good live Club and will help that
popular summer resort to even gre-
ater possibilities.

In the first half of Thursday night's
twin bill at the Exeter arena, the
Dashwood squad bolstered by four
London puckstens played a 4-4 tie
with the Exeter Legion outfit.
Zurich Edges Lucan
In the second tilt -the Zurich Lions
moved into a tie for fourth and last
play-off position by edging out the
Liman Irish 8-2 on •very soft ice.
The locals jumped into the lead
half way through the first session
when Bill O'Brien picked off Kru-
eger's pass and blinked the red light.
O'Dwyer made it 2-0 a few minutes
later as his drive from near the blue
line eluded Lucas in. the Lucan net.
F. Revington scored the only goal
of the second period when he flipped
Stretton's pass into the twine to put
Lucan. back within striking distance.
