The Men's Bible Class of the Ev-
angelical Church are holding their
annual meeting and are being enter-
tained at the hoarse of Mr. and 'Mrs.
Leonard Merner 14th. Con. on Wed-
nesday evening.
Mr Cyril •Gingerich who is taking
up the studies of the Mennonite Bible
School at Kitchener this winter, spent
the week -end at the home of his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob gingerich,
his brother Victor accompanied him
on his return to the city and will also
attend the course for a few weeks.
Gone to Florida
Mr: Lorne and brother Alvin 'Gin-
gerich and Mr. Leonard Beckier left
for Sarasota, Florida where [they in-
tend to stay about two months. They
made the trip by auto and so far
have enjoyed the trip and scenery
very much.

The annual meeting of the Hay

annual meeting on Monday, and a
goodly number of policyholders were
present for the occasion. The retir-
ing directors were Henry C. Beaver,
Goldie Graham and Thomas Love, all

Injuries Leg
Mrs. Allen Steckle, of the Bron-
son line met with a painful accident
while she was painting the new kit-
chen cupboards, •when .She slipped
and fell several feet to the floor, in-
juring her leg below the knee. She
was' taken to St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, where an x-ray was taken
and treatments given. She has now
returned to her home, and her many
friends wish her a speedy recovery.

Car Accident
Dr. W. B. Coxon of town met with
a car accident while out on a call
last Tuesday morning, it being one
of the worst storms of the season,
and on his returning home got stuck

truck piled into him ,from the rear,
blinded in the snow*, neither •drivers
noticed the other. Dr. Coxon while
sitting at his place at the wheel on
the front eat was pushed to the.
windshield by the impact of the truck
cracking the seat on which he was
sitting. His ear is badly damaged,
but the Doctor was very fortunate
by receiving only a scratch to one
of Iris legs and a shaking up.
