FOR THE GO-AHEAD FARMER—
A STEP IN THE RIGHT
DIRECTION
Farm Financing Simplified.
It is an oft -proven statement that
in life a man ,cannot remain station-
ary—he must march forward or
slip ibehind.
This saying is particularly true for
the farmer. For unless he makes use
of modernized equipment, this farm
will not be able to stand up against
the comyetition from rneigribou11ng
`go -,ahead' farms.
Machinery for increased product-
ion, materials dor new buildings and
extensions, new improved implem-
ents and equipment, new livestock to
build up the herd, adequate elecibr e
al wiring, modern heating and water
systems, motors, ,pumps, nr lki ng
machines—these tnaly mean the diff-
erence between success and failure.
If such improvements are on your
farm, they will make money for you
It is true, of ieouase, that they will
also cost money. And that is why
the first step for a `go-ahead' farmer
is often a visit to the Bank of Mon-
treal. A talk to Gordon Sewell, man-
ager of the local B ,of M, will reveal
how money wisely borrowed and in-
vested can change an ordinary farm
into a profitable farm.
Mr. Sewell is well acquainted with pe rod, O'Brien scoring on Krueger's
,the farmer's needs andproblems. '.He 1 rebound While Turkheim was serving
is anxious to help you soave these
problems. He will be glad to see you,
and your visit will be a step in the
right direction.
