Paul Erlb of Mildmay was the guest speaker both services and de- livered two very inspiring sermons. -Alt the morning service the choir ren- dered an anthem, and a solo entitled "Beyond the Dawn" was sung by Mrs J. M. Tiernan. Boa the evening ser- vice the choir rendered two .anthems one of which was "The Holy City"' the solo part being taken by Mrs. Howard Simpson of Exeter, a former choir member. There vvhs a good at- tendance at both services. Monday evening a musical program was giv- en in the church. Rev. Paul Enb ren- dered several organ selections as well as several hymn interpretations on the piano. The program also consist- ed of numbenns by The Cousins Male Quartette, the ladies chorus, readings by Miss Anna Brrock ,of Exeter, solos by Mr. Douglass Gaol of C, -rand Bend and Shirley Pearson, trio by Mrs. J. K, McCrae, Mrs. T. Khunpp tam-I J. M. Tiernan, piano duetts by n. Taylor and Carole Webb, Nancy Tie=, man and Shirley Guenther. Vocal duet by Shirley and Marion Sirniith. I Rev. J. S. OBITUARY Two Deaths in One Day Seven hours anter Mrs. Johanna Rassow died on Wednesday, October 30th at noon, her son-in-]'aw, Isiah Tetreau, 151th con. Stephen Twp., died while doing chores in the barn. Mrs. Bassow, formerly of Hay Twp., had been brought to her soon -in-law's home three weeks ago, Just two days before she died she celebrated her 90t1i birthday. She 'was ,a member of the Zurich Evangelical Church. Isiah Tetreau, 74, was milking a cow when he passed away. Dr. Dun- lop, Exeter, was called but death had occurred when he arrived. Mr. Tet- reau was a weiiknnown horseman in the district. (Mrs. Batsow is survived by four daughters: Mrs; Isiah Tetreau; Mrs. Roy Pask, Clawson, Mich; Miss Enema B;a.ssow at home, and Mrs. Ferdinand Miller, Hay Twp, a son, harry Bassow, at home. The funeral was held on Saturday with service in the Zurich. Evangelical church, interment in the Bronson line cemetery. Ma.
