Had Good Rain
Last Thursday ushered in the long
looked for rain, that was needed so
badly, as the grou.nd was so dry that
the last threads of grass were being
burned up in many places. 1~ut the
showers came and did their work
nicely. Farmers are now busy with
their fall plowing and o,trier work
during these nice days. The rain
will greatly help the water shortage,
but it will take a few more showers
like that to help the hard water
wells that in many cases have given
act.
