Lions Club `News At the regular supper meeting in the Dominion House on Monday night three new members were taken into Lionism, namely, Lloyd. Etue, and Glenn and Alvin ,Walper. These new members have the makings of good Lions, and were welcomed in the Club by President Lion Ivan and others. A considerable amount of humor is always prevalient at the initiation ex- ercle of new members, and this: one affcded special humor. A consider- able amount of other routine business was gone over. OBITUARY The funeral of the late Mrs. Peter Deichert Sr. which was held on Fri- day was very largely attended show- ing in a small_ way the high esteem the departed was held. The funeral service was held in the Evangelical church, with interment in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery, conducted by' her pastoor, the Rev. E. Heinrich. Mrs. Deichert was always very de- voted to her church and possessed a most wonderful christian faith. She was also very devoted to her family who: will miss her the most. . In 1883 she was' married to Peter Deichert, who predeceased her two years.
