With the continued fine harvesit
weather the fall wheat is about all
cut, and much of it is being hauled
in. Most of the barley and oats will
also be cut this week, and by all ap-
pearance the harvest; will be over
quiite early this year. The wheat
crop, although not so heavy as we
have seen it, promises to be a nice
average yield, while the sumaner crops
look above the average yield. The
recent rain has greatly helped the
bean and later crops, as well as the
gardens.

The Village of Zurich was thrown
into an intense state of excitement
Tuesday morning when it became
known that 1Vlessrs. Johnson Bros.

preventing the fire from spreading
although the mill and ahont 15,000

Back to the Trailer
We notice Mr. Albert G. Hess has
his Ral'ling Home, or house- trailer
out and by looks of things is malting
it ready for to hit the trail. This
type of travel was very popular be-
fore the last sear, and proved quite
a convenience in getting around, but
t'ie tire and gas ralbions put this
type of travell completely out of ex-
' `unto, but with these ration restri-
ctions removed, the old house trailer
is corning back again and when we
will get mere new and stronger cars
again, the trailer will become more
prevalent, as already they are in-
vading the tourist earaps in numbers
exceeding anything for some years.
After all there is that genial eociab
ility around a tourist camp that We
tind does not exist in the eottage or
cabins cif today, and the people tike
the wide open life as near to nature
as one can comfortably get.

CHOPIN'S REAL LOVE STORY
Ten letters, just discovered
Warsaw, reveale that not George
Sand, the writer, but a Polish count-
ess, a musician, had the greatest in-
fluence on the life and art of . the
celebrated composer. Read Chopin's
Real Love Story, by Ethel Vance, in
The American Weekly with this •Sun-
day's (July 28) issue of the Detroit
Sunday Times.
SMALL INTEREST CHARGES
.. INVITE PERSONAL LOANS
Mr. Sewell, manager of the Bank
of Montreal, Zurich, reports that the
low cost of .personal loans appeals
strongly to all borrowers coming to
his office. It is a very pleasant sur-
prise to many. The rate of interest
is only one-half of 11% per month,
which is equal to 27c a month'for a
$100 loan, repayable in twelve mon-
thly instalments. Loans range from
$50 to $1,000—or more, if you need
it.
Getting a personal loan from Mr.
Sewell is a straightforward, bus-
iness affair, for, as he will tell you,
wthen you ask for a loan at the B.
of M. you do not ask a favor.
