Weseloh is visiting with her siater, Mrs. A. C. Me:Winger, at Hensel]. Mr. and Mrs. Christ Haist visited at the home of their daughter at Goderich on Saturday. Mr. Laurie Fowlie of London, was a recent visitor with his sister, Mr. and Mis. Gideon Koehler. Mr, John N. Cantin of Montreal, is .visiting with his mother in. St. Joseph this week. Mr. Wm. Jeffrey of Chatham vis- ited at the home, of Mr. and Mrs. David Ducharine last week: Mr. and Mrs. James Parkins and daughter were Sunday visitors with the former's parents, at Hensall. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Kalbfle'.:;ch of Detroit visited with relatives here over the week -end. Mr. and Mrs.. R. F. Stade visited at the home of the former's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stade, Dashwood. Misses Dorothy Hooper and Kath- leen gay of Exeter, were renewing friends in town on Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lennis O'Brien and sons had a lovely time camping at Grand Bend last week. Mr. Ward Fritz, accompanied by friends, are enjoying a fishing trip in the Parry Sound district this week. Mrs. E. Brenneman and children, of Milverton were recent visitors at the home of their uncle and aunt, 14Ir. and Mrs. Wm. O'Brien. Mrs. Roy Howard of London, was a week -end visitor with her mother, and at the hone of Mr. and Mrs. W. Phiel. Mr. Ted. Weseloh and sen Bob of Waterloo were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thiel during the past week. August 5th is the day set through- out Canada as Civic Holiday, and will be observed as such in Zurich and vitcinity. •Mr. and Mrs. Herb Mousseau and daughters and Mr. Ted. Klopp are enjoying a ten day's outing on Man- itoulin Island. Mr. Harold Charreitte of Detroit is spending this week at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dav- id Duchaxmie. The many friends of Mr. Legend Willert, our baker, will be pleased to learn that • he is improving nicely af- ter his illnese. Mrs. Sam Schroeder, of Saskatoon Sack., is visiting at the home of her brother, Mr. and Mrs. I. Tetreau of near Shipka, and other relatives. Miss Helen O'Brien and friend, Mr Arthur McLean of London, spent the week -end at the home of the form- er's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd O'Brien. Mr and Mss. Russell Preeter and daughters and Miss Merle Preeter of Toronto, who are camping at Grand Bend, were week -end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Fritz. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Finkbeiner, Mrs Wm. Finkbeiner, Mrs. Lena Switzer all of Creditor, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. •Christ Haist. Dr. and Mrs. P. J. O'Dwyer and sons were Sunday visitors at the home of the former's daughter, Iver. and Mrs. Stuart Stover and infant son, Daniel, at Chatham. The funeral was held on July 2nd at the Lake Woatth Funeral Home, with burial at Pinecreat Cemetery. IVir. Schuettler who was born .and raised in Zurich, was very interested in music and was a member of the Zurich band at that time, and went south some 30 years ago, was one of the pioneers of the Lake Worth dicbrict Which is located seven miles from West balm Beao71.
