GO-AHEAD FARMER GETS GRIP
ON ELECTRCAL FUTURE
Electrical Improvements Financed on
Low -Cost Instalment Plan.
The go-ahead farmer knows that the
demand for his products in peace will
be just as great as they were in war.
He knows, too, that if he is to play
his full part in meeting this increased
demand for foodstuffs, his farm must
be electrically prepared for it. •
He knows his farm inust be adequat-
ely wired to derive full benefit from
all the modern electrical power ap-
pliances. He knows also that he
Should own these devices so that his
production is efficiently cared for.
He will concern himself, too, with
his family's welfare, by providing
them with the benefits of electricity
in the home.
The necessary financing for all of
these highly desirable improvements
is readily available through a low-
cost instalment loan at the Bank of
Montreal.
The go-ahead farmer is quick to un-
derstand also that asking for a loan
at the Bank of Montreal is not ask-
ing a favor. Mr. Sewell, the man-
ager, knows well the potentialities of
the future and is anxious and willing
to help any go-ahead farmer to get a
grip on this future.

BAIL SET AT $5,000.-
Goderich—Abert Hodges charged
with unlawfully carrying a weapon
was remanded in custody by Mag J.
W. Morley for a week, with bail fix-
ed at $5,000. He was found in pos-
session of a .22 calible revolver when
he was apprehended by police in a
car stalled near Exeter. He was all-
owed until his appearance next Thu-
rsday to elect and to plead.
Local workmen are busy , these
days putting in a new section of side-
walk in front of the new residence
of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Stade. This
part of the walk required raising up
and renewing as it was broken at
places. It is regretable that so many
of our walks have been woefully
neglected the past few years, as at
many places the old walks are badly
heaved end broken up, and the tax
money that should have been used
for such work, was used, for
other purposes. We trust that • our
Village Fathers will continue the
ca:ood work with our walks and make
them a fit and safe place to walk
upon especially in the night time.

and the late Holland Little of Hensel"
The bride was attractively dressed in
a blue tailored suit with matching ac-
ce MO ries. They were unattended.
After a honeymoon to Windsor and
other points, Mr. and Mrs. Little will
reside in Hensall.
