Our local Lions are a busy bunch
these days. Last Friday evening
they journeyed to Crediton and put
on their Minstrel •Show to a good and
enthusiastic crowd, which netted the
local Club a nice bit of money, and
had a most enjoyable evening's out-
ing. Then on Monday night the Club
were at Parkhill with the show and
here 'also they were very well receiv-
ed, as the large hall was well filled
and the crowd very lively and took
the jokes very well. The exact a-
mount of the proceeds has not as
yet been determined but it will also
be a nice bit.
