youngest daughter Vera (bride elect)
The home being deeoratecf in pink
and white, very suitable for the oc-
carion; Vera being taken by a com-
plete surprize when she arrived with
friends from Exeter and entered her
mother's home and met all the smil-
ing faces that had gathered. Nies.
Victor Dinnin invited the bride elect
to take the decorated chair which
was waiting for her appearance. A
mock wedding was one of the inter -
eating features of the evening and
took place in the dining room. Wer.
Earl Weido acting as the bride, Mies
Inez Yungblut as groom, Mrs. Ted.
Steinbach gave the bride into mar-
riage, Miss Florence Steinbach as
ring hearer, Miss Mae Smith pianist,
Mrs. Harold Rader soloist and Mrs.
C. L. Smith the parson. After the
ceremony the bride elect and guests
were invited to come in the living
room where Douglas and Allen Thiel
nephews of Vera's, drew the wagon
loaded with many beautiful and use,
ful gifts to the bride. Miss Mae
Smith then read the presentation.
After opening the gift Vera in her
usual well chosen remarks, replied
very gratefully for their kindness and
thoughtfulness in presenting her with
euch lovely gift; "A jolly Good Fel-
low" was then sung. A little time
was then enjoyed with contests and
riddles, this stirred up much fun
and laughter. A delicious luncheon
was served. Guests then took part in
a hearty sing song, until the clock
had ticked the time to return to their
homes; wishing Vera and her in-
tended companion the very best of
