Some Roads Bad
Some of our roads are beginning
to be vcry heavy and one must be
very. careful at places not to get
bogged down in the mud which is
breaking through. Strange to say,
the road to Hensall is reported to he
very heavy and broken. up at sever-
al places. People should not use the
roads more than necessary until they
have become set and the frost is
heaved out.
Spring Is Here
With the ushering in of March, with
it along comes spring, and no one,
can deny it, the weather is nice and
warm, the snow and ice are about
all gone, the maple season is in- full
swing, the crows are here as well as
the robins and black birds, all are
doing their chirping. But the warm
weather has not come to stay, for
at this time of year there are always
squalls of cold and icy weather, and
the chilly winds from the north, but
by the looks of things we are saving
a very early spring, and so far a
nice one.

for well near the century dating
back to the time of their ancestors,
when they first settled on that spot.
Mr. Wm. Jennison will be greatly
missed in this community for he has
had more than a little of dealing
with the public, for he has handled
threshing machines for a good many

Weekly newsapaer advertising is concentrated
advertising. It is point of sale advertising. It is
merchandising on the spot. It is coverage of a
