—John Gies, Mrs: n `v: ----' `day evening at the regular supper
meeting at the Dominion House.
Lion Dalt was accompanied at the
Zurich meeting by a member of the
St. Thomas Club. Lion Dalt dwelt
for some time on juvenile delinqu-
ency, and congratulated the Iocal
Club on the achievement of a skating
rink which is one of the many theat-
res of good, clean and healthy re-
creation, and admonished the Club to
keep their minds centred on the youth
as this is the main objective of all
service chubs, therefore and thereby
injecting a spirit of clean and whole-
some ambitions instead of crimes
caused by the youth organizing their
own. He also gave tabulations of
the growth in members as well as
Clubs all over the world, and espec-
ially in. Canada, and asked for a
booster to have a Canadian elected
as Third Vice President of Lions In-
ternotional this summer.
A vote taken by the Club members
endorsed the Minstrel .Ssow Commit-
tee's recommendation that tale Min-
strel Show be held April 4th and 5th
of which fux%her reference will be
made in the press later on.
One of the highlights of the meet-
ing of the meeting was a 10e fine
paid by a lady for an infraction of
the Club rules, tail -twister George,
being on the alert, and who shows
no partiality, collected the fine.
