Returns from Overseas
Mr. David Meyers, brother of Mr.
Thomas Meyers of Zurich, on Thurs-
day of last week arrived in Zurich,
and his many friends were indeed
pleased to see him and he was aleo
very glad to be back home in the
old town again. His wife, Mrs.
Meyers will follow in the near •fut-
sure. David spent three years and
seven months overseas, and has seen
a good deal of modery warfare,

OBITUARY
Death of Joseph Hagan
Residents of the community were
shocked to learn of the passing of
a prominent resident in the person
of Mr. Joseph Hagan, who died on
Monday evening, February 18th, in
St. Joseph's Hospital. London, having
been a patient since Christmas with
a heart condition. Born in Stanley
Township he had been a popular re-
sident of Hensall for the • past 15
years. He was a faithful and valued
member of St. Boniface R. C. Church
at Zurich, was unmarried, but is
survived by three brothers. John,
of Dakota; Daniel, _ London,
and
Charles of Seaforth, and a sister, Mrs
Breene, of Detroit. The funeral was
held on Thursday morning from
St. Boniface Church, Zurich, follow-
ed by interment in St. Peter's cem-
etery, Drysdale.
