In his police connections he was an honorary member of the Lambton !County force. Surviving are his wife, formerly Alice Hamilton end a son, Ware, �f St. Marys. A private funeral service was held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Thome, followed by service in the Grand Bend United Church at three o'clock. Burial followed in the Grand Bend Cemetery.
