former's husband who was expected
to arrive at London from overseas.
What a happy meeting to have the
family ties meet again and to realize
that this horrible war is over. •

end of town to Mr. Keith Westlake,
and Mrs. Datars has purchased the
dwelling of Mr. Charles Thiel near
the Lutheran church. Mr. Earl Thiel
who has sold his property near the
fair grounds to Mr. Moses Gerber,
has purchased the dwelling of Miss
Jane Lamont on Victoria street. Mr.
Gerber has sold his fine faun to Mr.
Emmerson Erb of the Bronson line,
who has sold his farm to his neigh-
bour Mr. Clare Geiger. Mr. Gerber
will hold an auction sale next month
and most} of these deals will be giv-
ing possession on November 1st.

dren motored to Waterloo on Sunday
to visit'at the home of the former's
sister•, Mrs. Wilson Kraft. In the af-
terneon all the children with the ex-
ception of one daughter, Mrs. Bow -
;max of Durham; and the grand chil-
dren gathered to celebrate the 80th
birthday of their mother, Mrs: Eliza-
beth Fisher who was taken by sur-
prise when she visited the home of
her daughter. Beautiful gifts and
cards were received, bearing good
health wishes for years to come. Mrs
Fisher who formerly lived on the
farm now owned by her youngest
son Ray on the Goshen line, Hay, is
very active and enjoying the best of
health. And expressed her gratefull-
ness to her family for making her
birthday a great success.
