The annual Municipal Voters. Lists
of Hay Township have recently- been
printed and are being distributed to
the various parties entitled. There
are about 100 more names on the list
this year than in 1944.
.There has been a lot of wet and
cold weather for this time of year
the past week. The ground has been
saturated with rains. But the farm-
ers are busy haying and alt!1ot gii the
hay is drying slowly, but the hay
is going in fairly good .and the glean
tity is also good.
Mr. Lorne Klopp, Gordon and
Stanley Smith have .returned after
a very pleasant fishing trip in the
Parry Sound district. While there
they were guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Ward Fritz who are camping at that
place for a few weeks.
Miss Mae Smith of the Technology
staff: of Victoria Hospital, London, is
spending the month of July with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Smith,
of town. Maehas just returned from
a boat cruise on the Steamer Asan-
aboia up the lakes as far as Port
Arthur and Fort Williams.
Campers who have scampered of;
to the lakeside to avoid the heat for
July are finding themselves in just
as bad a position as these Tights are
just about the next thing to frost.
It looks as if there will be little if
any real warns weather this summer:
