Mrs. Henry Lawrence has left to

her son near Mitchell,
Mrs. E. Tuerkheim visited with
her daughter Irene, nurse in training
at Stratford, one day last week.
Mr. Harry Rose who has been for
some, time at Windsor has returned
to his home in town.

Mrs. P. J. O'Dwyer and daughter

The Agricultural moving pictures

was a decided success in the town
hall on Wednesday evening. Mr. 'Carl
Haberer, the local president, closed
the meeting with a few remarks and
the National Anthem.
E. R. A., Harold Stade ox the Roy-
al Canadian Navy arrived with his
wife from Windsor last Wednesday,
and is spending part of his leave
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. F.
Stade, after being on convoy duty
on the Atlantic for the past year.
The Herald is a bit late again this
week, owing to us having to print
some voters' lists for the Crown At-
torney at Goderich on Tuesday, and

His physician, Dr. H. t. 1,ykert,
who is a well known specialist, Writes
that Dr. Taylor is making satisfact-
ory progress and will very -soon be
able to resume all his usual activit-
ies. In fact, it is expected be will
be out of the hospital in a few days.
Owing to the shortness of the el-
ection campaign Dr. 'Taylor will not
be able to address any meetings, nor
make any personal calls- on the peo-
ple of his riding. However, he will
broadcast over Radio Station CKNX,
Wingham, on Tuesday May 29th, at
(3,00 p.m.; Thursday May 31st at 6.00
p.m., and Saturday June 2nd at 7.55
p.m. On Friday June lst at 7.15
p.m., Premier ,Drew will speak on his
behalf over the same Station.
He is confident his friends and
workers will rally to his support and
do all they can to see that he is re-
elected.
