Of CANADA LTD. (ESSENTEAL WAR INDUSTRY) If you want to build a modern barn or buy new equipment s, pr electrify your farm or modernize your house „ . then have a talk with your bank manager about his new powers under the Farm improvement Loans Act. How often have you said, "If I could only raise the money!" Well, if you could, what would you do to improve your farm and increase your pro- duction? Would you build a modern barn? or buy new machinery? or modernize your house? or electrify your farm? You tan raise short term money from your bank; and long term money from other institutions by way of mortgage. But there are some things you would like to do which require loans that are neither long nor short... That is where the hanks, operating under the new' pawn Improvement Loans Act; can help you. The gap has been filled. "Intermediate" loans at a specially low rate can now be obtained for periods of two or three years—or even longer, in cases up to ten years. So, if you have a project in mind to improve your farm, drop in and talk it over with your local bank manager. Ask him what he is now em- powered to do to help make your farm living more attractive and your work more profitable. He will tell you --and show you --that your bank is just as eager to meet the sound credit needs of the farmer as of the merchant or manufacturers this Ativertiseretenf is Sponsored by y • -Hsi 404. • ur 8anfr
