operation, but is convalescing nicely.
Is At Hospital
Mrs. M. Eckstein is at South Hur-
on Hospital, Exeter, where sihe.'is
receiving treatments. Her many
friends wish her a speedy recovery.
Had Baptismal Service
A very {beautiful baptismal service
took place at the Evangelical U: B.
Parsonage in Zurich last Tuesday
evening when three children were
baptized by the pastor, H. E. Hoppel.
They were, seven-year old Roy Ed-
ward McAdams, son of 'Mr and Mrs
Milton McAdams; four year old Don.
add Keith McAdams, son of Mr and
Mrs. William McAdams, and throe
year old Louis Leonard Zirk, son of
Mr and Mrs Leonard Zirk.'

Tuesday. afternoon when a jury wds

Still Fall Weather
The October like weather still re-
mains with us, regardless of the
advancing of the season and the Cal -
ander says Dec. 10th, and practically
no frost or snow as yet. But by the
sound of the weatherman, .something
is in the not too far ditance that
may soon change things, when we
hear of places with four below, and
the weather heading straight in our
direction, also of eight incnes of
snow, which always makes plenty of
extra work to shovel it away.
