Scoutmaster Appointed
,Scouter Douglas O'Brien has been
invested as Cltiibenaster of the Zurich
Pack, while Scouter Louis Dhiel was 1
invested as his Assistant. Scoutmas-
ter J. Reid is listed also as second
Assistant Oubanaster , but says he
knows he won't be needed there
much longer and will be able to spend
more time with the Scout Group.

Late Mrs. B. Damm.
On Olot. 15, Mrs. Harvey Daman,
Walkerton, the fanner SaSarah
away
and formerly of Kippen , passed
suddenly at her home. Kr and Mrs.
Daman moved to Kipper in 1943 and
kept a general stare until 1950,when
they sold out and moved to Walker-
ton. She is survived by her husband,
two sons, a daughter of Winmipeg, 2
gar Restemeyer, Mr and Mrs Albert
Miller, Mrs Rud. Miller and Miss
Gert. Bersenthol all attended the
filet `Martin Luther in Kitchener last
Wednesday.

Exeter — Total damage of over
$1,000 was caused to two cars when
they collided half mile south of Exe-
ter, ;Saturday night last. One of the
cars driven by G. K. Crocker, of Ex-
eter, was going north on the higth-
watyl when it collided with a car, driv-
en by .Sianon Greb, of Exeter, as he
was backing from a driveway, police
said, damage to theCrocker car was
estimated at $700 and $4511 to the
Grob car.

past week for harvesting of soybeans

so far these events have been well
attended. In addition to the feeder
cattle purchased from the Northern
Ont. and Wiarton Cattle Sales heavy,
shipments are coming into the Co --

ally select these shipments. A carload
of 45 Hereford Steer calves were
