Cars Were Damaged
Damage was extensive in a three -
car crash Sunday last on No. (21 High
way, a mile north of Grand Bend.
Police said cars were driven by Ray-
mond Enigh, 17, London, Wilfred
Hornung, f2(0, Kitchener; and Philip
Church, 20, Exeter. The Enigh car
was stalled on the highway and was
struck in the rear by the Hornung.

As the season momentonts along
the Zurich Lumber Kingsarc getting
better and by the time. th.e playoffs
start in another week or cy should
be at their peak. Last Friday night
they nipped the powerful and al-
most unbeatable St. Marys nine
in a very tight game 4-3. The St.
Marys team made a strong bid to tie
the game in the ninth but after
scoring one run,. a double plaiyl nip-
ped the rally. Jack Haberer with his
two hits paced the winners at the
plate. The battery for Zurich were
Heller, pitcher, O'Brien, catcher,for
St. Marys, Bradshaw, Mossitt and No-
thercott.

A very • onesided game was played
on the local diamond in Zurich on
Monday night when the locals 'hand-
ed the Clinton RCAF boys a 9-0
srellacking in a league game. Ron

nine, being in top form. The Zurich
team obtained 12 hits off the Meats
