Lightning Strikes in House During the early hours of this Wednesday morning, Dominion 1)ay. a series of heavy thunderstorms pas- sed over this district and while one of these was passing over a bolt of lightning struck into the large brick residence of Mr. Ted. Haberer, at the westerly outskirts of town. The bolt lodging on the bed in which Mr Haberer sleeps himself, luckily he had gotten up earlie' owing to the 1'ad weather, it was about six a.m. and as the Hydro was off the town siren could not be put into action, so the local Central operator had to call the firemen individually, who re- sponded quickly, as the bedding took fire which was soon distinguished. We are pleased to report that no ser- ious damage was done, and Mr. IIab- erer, who has just recently returned from the hospital at London recuper- ating from an auto accident, was in- deed fortunate that he was not in his bed at the time the bolt struck the house. 1Youthfor rist RUDY PETERSON, of Detroit, Mich. assisted by the Rev.
