Slight Change in Hours
A ,slight change in the working
hours have been made recently in
the Kalbfleisch Mills. Instead of
closing work at five o'clack they
now work through till six, but on
Saturday afternoons they have the
half day off. This we hope will con-
fonm with the wishes of ;heir cIn-
ployees.

backward weather, progress is be-

building operations. Me new home
being put up by Mr. Lawrence Bris-
son has the foundation walls erected
and will soon be ready for the car-
penters, some filling in has already
been done The excavation has been
started for the business •block with
dwelling elbove of Mr. Elroy Desjar-
dine, where the old blacksmith shop
was formerly. This looks to be
quite a sized building.. A speck- of
continued good weather will soon
get things going. We also need
good weather to plant our gardens,
as May is the month far that.
