Mistakes Will Always Be Made
To insure publication, ail- advertis
ing must be in the Herald Office b
Tuesday evening. No matter ii it i
plate or written copy as one shout
not expect your publisher on t.h
day' he publishes his paper to re -ad
just his columns and pages and push
aside the ones that are on time. As
we do appreciate our customers who
da co-operate with us. As we try to
do our best. If copy conies in late we
will gladly print it the following
week. In publishing a newspaper
those typographical errors always do
find their way into the coiumns, re-
gardless how a publisher does hate
then, may it be the city press, or
the humble weekly. It might be the
fault of a wrong letter dropping
from the typesetting machine, which
is only . ochanical, or it might be
that the copy is so poorly written,
cue (en hardly read what it might be.
Don't always blame the printer. The
proof readers do their best, but Iike
everyone else, these small mistakes
'slip through unnoticed until they
come out in print, and there they are,
no matter how many thousants you
set up each week -that are right, but
those few wrong ones seemingly with
some people condemn the whole pap-
er, and how some do remark it as
Terrible, Terrible, In practically
any other line of work mistakes may
be made and hushed up or hidaway,
and get by with it unnoticed, but not
so with the printer, there it is. Dui
regardless of these handicaps and
criticisms, as Mr. J. M. Southeott
of the Exeter Times Advocate and
the Dean publisher in Huron County
recently remarked in an editorial,
sand. "We love our work, publishing
a newspaper, and would not trade
our job with anyone in town.'

Credit? We felt farmers should .
not borrow money unless absolutely
necessary. Farmers definitely need
farm implements in order to make a
farm pay. It is good business for a
farmer to use credit in line of cost-

farm either to buy breeding stock or
