Returns From Hospital
Mrs. Roy Lamont has returned
home from St, Joseph's Hospital,
London, her many friends are pleas-
ed to hear that she is progressing

Returned From Florida
Mr and Mrs Charles Hay and dau-
ghters of Zurich, accompanied by
Mrs.. Hay's sister, Miss Shirley Agar
of Toronto, have returned home af-
ter a very pleasant auto tour to Flor-
ida and other beautiful places which
they visited for several weeks. We
are pleased to see them home sate-
ly.
Home From College
Mr. Glen Thiel, youngest sob of
Mr and Mrs Hugh ',Mel, has returned
from. Guelph O.A.C., after taking a
course there in mechanics. ' His
photo which was well taken with
some other students, along with their
instructor, was seen in the Junior
Farmers' Magazine. We wish Glen
every success.
Had Fine Service
World Service Day was held in the
U. B. Evangelical. Church last Sun-
day evening. Mrs. Newell Geiger
took charge of the service. Singing,
prayer and scripture opened the
meeting. Robert Johnston and Rob-
in. Meyers sang a very impressive
duett accompanied by Mrs. Milton
Oesch on the piano. A missionary
paper was read by Mrs. Peter Ging-
erich, Mrs. Milton Oesch. and Mrs.
K. tBr•eakey pleased the audience with
a splendid vocal duett, Miss Odelia
Gable at the piano. A picture film
was shown entitled "Adventure in
our town; Miss Olive O'Brien read•
ing the script as the pictures appear-
ed' on the screen. A good attendance
being .present.
HOCKEY NEWS
The ,Zurich Flyers had another
good week of hockey, winning all
three of their games. The last one
on Tuesday evening with the St
Marys team was played on the Zur-
