Costly Collecting
A local merchant is wondering if
It pays to send "(humors" to one's
customers, He was making a cleanup
on his books and among other acco-
unts sent out one for the sum of 15c
Thera was no reply, and again when
the period rolled around he sent out
the same 15e account, with the same
'results. As a matter of routine he
continued to send the bill. When
the fifth one had gone the man came
and paid. They merchant smiled, well
pleased that his matter of principle
had brought results, until he remem
bored the five: three -cent stamps he
had placed on the "dunners."--Ex,
