Christmas offer- ing at the entrance door. • Lions Club News The annual Christmas :Party Tur- key dinner was enjoyed Monday eve- ning by the Lions in the nicely dec- orated Dining Hall of the Dominion House, when the hosts Ross and Margaret Johnston and staff royally entertained the Club. Practically ev- erything one could wish for was on the menu, even down to christnuts cake and shortbread. The meeting as usual was one of the most rousing of the year, plenty .of singing with Lion Tamer Gordon Hess doing the leading, and Mrs. John Turkneim et the piano. The many carols included the immortal Tannenbaum in the german language to those who knew, it, and the last of the songs was ap- propriately "Auld Lang Syne.' The Lions all were in for a good evening and they surely had just teat. In the annual Christmas draw for the club members, the following prizes were won. 1st Ghristntas cake donat- ed by Governor Victor Dinnin, and -won by Milfred Scbilbe; 2nd chicken by Lee O'Brien, won by Ed. ties:eo; 3rd chicken by Llody O'Brien, wan by Gov.
