Board Ad'inission THE NOMINATION The Hay Township nomination was held in the Township Hall on Friday afternoon last with a very light at- tendance. The old enthusiasm that used to prevail at these meetings seems to have had their day, or i; it that they are held earlier in the year, we do net know. The reeve in his opening address remarked about the small attendance and hoped that the ratepayers are satisfied w:ch their past year's work. Mr. Campbell al- • so went over the work in general, as well as the County Council woi^k, which is getting to be rather big business with the hundreds or tirctts- ands of dollars involved in their work The various Councillors also gave a good account of their work ailoted to them. And as no new councillors • were nominated the Clerk declared th.e old council re-elected fur the year 1958 as follows: Reeve,, Earl Campbell; Councillors V. 13ecker, L. H. Rader, Gus Roche, and Irvin Willert. For three School Truetees, Elmer Rowe, Leonard Erb, Lloyd Hendrick and E. 13. Horner. The latter who has been a memtser on the board since its inauguration, did not wish to stand and so was ex- cused from office.
