1952.
VANKLEEK HILL, ONT.—"You Can.Do It Boys"—Takes team -work both on the part of men and horses
to move tons of dead-weight.
HARRISTON, ONT. "Baa, Baa, Black ..." They're not all black, but their faces are
sooty enough, this pair of fine prize -winners.
N.COE, ONT.—"Fait Fairs Are Lots of Fun"—This young citizen 'seems to think so, although we
ibt if any of the exhibits drew more admirin g glances than himself. Or - the photographer
neglected to tell us—maybe it should be "herself."
PARIS, ONT.—A Champion—and Looks the Part—Her name is Amy Rag Apple Salax, which seems a
terrible tag for any female. Nevertheless Amy etc. was Senior and Grand Champion at this Fair.
TWEED, ONT. "Isn't She Sweet?"—Barbara Blakely appears to think
'his Holstein calf is pretty nice—and in our opinion Miss.Barbara
is too.
MITCHELL, ONT. "Ali Together Ngrnr, Gangi"—The tug-of-war is always a feature at properly -run
Fall Fairs like this one.
CALEDONIA, ONT. "Need Won•skid Shoes for This" ---Real
action here as a harness horse driver steers his pac '.
around a narrow turn.
