The pupils of Miss Denise Swe- eney of London presented a recital at the University of Western Ontario last Thursday evening, Nancy Tie - man was featured playing Synnfrhon- ic Variations by Ceasar Franck for piano and orchestra. The or•cnestra accompaniment was played on the second piano by Miss Sweeney. Miss Tiernan also played Preludes m G. major and G minor by Rachmianinoff. The Dashwood Band and the church choir furnished the music.
