Our Home Economics teacher of
the Zurich Public School, Mrs. Herr
Necib and her some 60 pupils -in all,
invited the parents and friends to
the public 'school Zurich where they
entertained them afternoon and ev:
ening, showing them the year's work
in sowing, cooking, etc., wirier all
war neatly arranged and work being
well done. Lunch was served in the
evening and ,all enjoyed the display
of the different articles made by the
pupils. The manual training course
had a similar display by the boys tin-
der the supervision of the principal,
1'Ir. Pinnixr. All are worthy of con-
gratulations.

Zurich Wins Two
During the past week the Zurich
tear's really went to town by winning
two important games. Last Thurs-
day eve the Clinton RCAF' Boys
were down and took a defeat of 5.4..
In this game Peter Candy for Zurich
practically won the game single-han-
ded accounting for four of the Zur-
ich's five runs with two homers and
a double. Then. on Monday evening
the locals went to Dashwood beating
that powerful nine by the same score
5-4. This was Dashwood's second de-
feat this season. Poor base running
