The former, Dr. Dirk is Superintend-
ent of Victoria Hospital, London, and

Evangelical U. B. Church, alone with
neighbours and friends gathered on
Monday evening in the basement of
the church in rhon^•r of one of their
class members, Mrs. Torrance, wee

the home of her sister. the late Mrs.
W. L. Siebert. She will be missed as
she made many friends in Zurich who

AVIAN FOUND IN BARN DIES
Walter Mueller, 60, of R. R. 8,
Zurich, who stied on May 5th, in Vic-
toria Hospital, London,- from a brain
hemorrhage had :been at the hospital
for ten days after being found in
the barn of his employer, Elmer Res-
temeyer, Bronson line, Hay Tcwn- Line Neighbours.
..hip, He was unmarried and had lived
in this district all his life. 2urviv-
ng are four brothers: Samuel and
Ferdinand, Hay, Twp., Oscar, Steph-
en Twp; Rudolph, Dashwooz, and a
sister, Mrs. Reinhold Miller, Hay Tp.
Resting at the Hoffman funeral home
in Dashwood, where services were
conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m., anal
interment followed in the Lutheran
Bronson Line Cemetery. •

JR. BAND CONCERT
The first Zurich Junior Band con-
cert held in the Community Centre,
on Friday evening, May 2nd. wag a
great success. The hall being well
filed with interesting parents, friends
and lovers of music. Faces marked
the pleasure on hearing the harmony
produced by the youthful group so
recently organized. All numbers
were heartily applauded.
The leader, A. C. Robinson, gave
fine' -explanations and encourage-
ments as he deemed suitable. Music
c;nsisted of various selections by
the band in unison, solos, duetts,
trios with band instrumen•et :were
well rendered by the members. Spl-
endid accompaniments were played
by Zurich musicians on the piano. We
take great pleasure in ,congratulating
Mr. Robinson - on hie fine dicipiine

brie^.• to the surface the wonderful
talents that we have in our village
