That by-law No. 2, 16:52 to Provide
for an estimated expenditure of $55.-
.000.00 for 1952 on Hay Twp. roads
be passed subject to approval of the
Dept. of Highways.
That the 1952; Library grant to the
Zurich Public Library be $25. and to
"Dashwood Pub. Library $15.
. That byrlaw No. 9 re: lawful fenc-
es be rescinded and a new by-law be
prepared in order to bring the by-
law up to date to conform with the
Line Fence Act.
That the caretaker, Mrs. Farley
Bender be paid. her salary for the
past year -and that she be re-engaged
for the year Feb. 1-1952 te Feb. 1,
1953. Salary to be $100.

PROMINENT HENSALL MAN'
PASSES
Residents ef Hensel} and the entire
community were shocked at the sud-
den ;passing of their beloved citizen,
Mr. Thomaa tWelsh who passed away,
at his borne:Friday morning, Feb.
29th follow*. three days illness.Mr.
Welsh .had been enjoying g.;od health
and had ,rittarided a hockey game at
the Arena Nand a y night and was
going home on Tuesday from up
town when he suffered a weak spell
and was assisted home and on Thurs-
day suffered:a relapse and placed
