Word was received here of the pas-
sing in Toronto of Alfred Peter Tor-
rance, a member of the Torrance
family who years agl& occupied . the

moved to Clinton. Death taking
place on Feb. 118th, he was in his
66th year, survived besides his his
wife the former Pearl Shannon of
Clinton are four sons and Dine daugh-
ter; brother of Miss Maude : Torrance
