and hundreds of thousands witnessed
his remains in Windsor, England. In
Zurich -the St.,Boniface R. C. Church
had an early mass commemorating
the occasion Then at 11 a.m.' in St.
Peter's Lutheran Church a memorial
.service was held with all ;peopie :n-
vited. The pastor. Rev. W. E. Heim-
ri b, was assisted by Rev. H. E. Rop-
pe1 -af the Evangelical church, the
men's chorus of the latter church
rendered a few numbers, with Mrs.
Milt. Oesch at the organ. Rev. Heim -
rich wave a m':st appropriate and
touching address on the late Ring,
who he said did not rule hut reigned.
He was a christen man to •his coun-
tey as well as to his own fernfly, and
in every one of his bnradc•a.sts the
late Ring always prayed to God for
Peace and*good will to all peoples on
earth. We think we shall never ter -
get this masterpiece address the Rev.
Mr. Heimrich gave us. The service
coed -with the singing of the Nat-
ional Anthem. airs. J. Turkheim
Presided at the consol of the organ.
There was a large attendance.
HOCKEY NEWS
Had Tough Going
Our local hockey team had rather
tough going the past week losing the
