All schools will close for the 'holi-
day season •Friday. evening.
Miss Jean Hartman visited with
her bnother, Mr and Mrs. Victor Hart
man in Windsor. •
Miss Anita Datars and Mr. Don-
ald Taylor of Kitchener spent last
week -end in town with Mr and Mrs
Ed. Datars ,Tr.
Mr Lawrence Hartman of • London,
and friend spent the week -end with
his parents, Mr and Mrs. Kuno Hart-
man, Goshen line south.
Miss Pauline Haberer, of London
was a visitor at the home of her
parents, Mr' and Mrs Ted Haberer,
over the week -end.
Mr and Mrs. Norman S. Zachta
from Detroit, were visitors at the
home of their relatives, Mr and Mrs
Howard Klopp on .Sunday.
Dr. and Mrs. E. M. Watson and
Mrs. V. Darling, of London, were
Sunday dinner guests at the home of
Mr and Mrs Chester L. Smith.
-Mrs: Victor Deichert, who has
been in St. Joseph's Hospital, London
for.treatments, has returned to her
home, Blind line, much improved in
health. .
Mr. Arthrur Sreenaa who resides
near 'Blake, and who has been a pat-
ient in Victoria Hospital for some•,
weeks, has recovered sufficiently ti
leave the Hospital, staying with his
daughter in the city for a while, be-
fore returning home.

our Christmas 'Seal Campaign. a

Evangelical Church
The Christmas Program of the Ev-
angelical United Brethren Church
and Sunday School, Zurich, will be
given next Sunday evening, Dec. 23,
7.80. The program will consist of
two main parts. First, the Junior de-
partment of the Sunday School will
give a variety of exercises of songs
diaogues, recitations, etc. Even the
tiny totes will be seen and heard on
the platform.
The Senior department of the Sun-
day School will give two short pag-
eants depicting the Christmas Story
whioli never grows old.
The church will be beautifully de-
corated of which the main feature
this year is an illustrated background
spread across the entire rront wall
of the church to picture the birth
place ,of our Lord in Bethiehem. The
public is invited. Chri,;tmas offering
at the door.
