8-7 for Zurich. Local hockey fans
are in for plenty of games this com-

Phew, What Weather!
With winter actually setting in
;on Friday the 21st, according to the
calander, we are beginning to think
something must be out of time, with
the piles of snow and the much cold
and 'sero weather we are having. A
goodry number of the village streets
ate, ,,ticked to tra: ,c. The :.locei snow
plows are going day and night and
cannot keep up, but things are look-
ing as bit better, and by the end of
the week will like be able to make
their rounds. But the nights get most
terribly cold, and with snow failing
day and night, there is really an old
fashioned Canadian winter in the
making.
IS VERY APPRECIATIVE
The Bible Room, London, Ont.

The Zurich and District Bible Society
I want you to know how deeply* I
appreciate, the fine shoring that
Zurich has trade again. You are do-
ing a grand piece of work, the results
of which you cannot see, and per-
haps you will never .know—but it is
helping people on the other side of
the world, who need help. Never
was the need as great as now, with
tens of millions learning to read in
Asia every year, the need for the
Scriptures is staggering.
Sincerely ours,
W. E. MacNiven
District Secretary

February 1926, and it is an interest-
ing story from •the beginning, until
it gradually grew to where it is now,
w14h ti,,,K,aff 'of .38, and the cost of
operating is over $40 an hour. Tele-
vision in these parts, he said, is still
a few .years away, and when it does
c ^me, local stations will be forced
into it., Lion Eddie Gas;.ho thanked
the speaker for his very fine address,
