the home of Mr and Mrs Delbert

* the discussion on "Folk Schools for
Farm Po ple." We fe•s1 that a stim-
ulation interest in public speaking in
Jr. Institutes, work and Jr. Farmers'
would help the people in our comm-
unity affairs. We feel we need folk
schools but we also need an interest
in schools that are being conducted.
Santa Claus at the .clese of the dis-
cussion came down the chimney and -
distributed his heavy pack to the
children and adults. Mrs. Schilbe
conducted recreation. The next
meeting, January 7th, will be held
at Mr and Mrs Thomas ISdeyers' home
with MT Leonard IMerner leading the
discussion on "Should we Increase
Production. Mrs. Delbert Geiger ser-

C. W. L. Meet
The regular monthly meeting of
St. Peter's C.W.L. was held at the
home of Mrs. Ken Etue, Tuesday,
December 4th, with a very good at-
tendan-e. The meeting was opened
with nsay:i• by the president. The
min...J.3e as read, were ad pted and
reports were given ben various com-
mittees. Plans were made for visits
cards and Christmas treats for the
sick and shut-ins by Mrs. Maurice
Durand. Mrs. Gus Roclie volunteered
to take charge of the 'Christmas pro-
gram, Christmas tree and treats for
the children to be held Sunday af-
terno •n. De•Tirber 1.6th at the parish
hall. Father W. Bourdeau closed the
mee1ing with prayer. Mrs, Wilfred.
Corrivean gave a reading and Miss
Mary L. Etue sang very sweetly. A
Christmas sing -song was enjoyed by
all and the balance of the opening
was snent playing bingo. Prizes were
won by, Mrs. L. Regier. Mrs, Rend
Denomme, Mrs. Peter Nia.se, Mrs.
AndrPw Rau, Mrs. Louis Durand
and Mrs. Fred Siemon. Adelicious
lunch was served amid Christmas can-
dies and lites by the 'committee in
charge. •
