OBITUARY
Christian Dresser
Christian C. Dresser, 82, a resid-
ent of Bayfield for .5-5 years, died
at his home there Aug. 30th, after
a brief illness, Surviving besides
his wife, are two sons, Willard and
Hales, Bayfield. The remains rested
at the Westlake, funeral home Zurich
where services were held -on Satur-
day last at 2 p.m. with interment in
B-ayfield cemetery. Rev. J. Webby
officiated.

al after a lingering illness. She was
in her 80th year. She was fornerlry

husband and four brothers and three
sisters. Evelyn ..and Edgar Broderick
of Exeter; Garnet in London; and
John. Broderick, of Regina, .Sask;

William Ronnie, Zurich; and Miss
Marjory, Broderick of Exeter. The

case of Aug. 18, in which two young
men escaped 'conviction because their
offence was not indictable under the
Canada Temperance Act. The magis-
trate described their -offence "disrupt-

fering with peaceful citizens" "row-
dyism"—Nio one ever 'claimed that
such alt offence was indictable under
the Canada Temperance Act. But ev-
eryone knows that it is a ;breach of
