after spending -a week with her chil-
dren in Kitchener and Waterloo. Mr.

Rader Families
A large gathering attended the
annual Rader Families Reunion Ori
Sunday Sept., 2nd at Jowett's Grove
Bayfield. Mr. Martin Laub, &air-
man of the sports commttee, assisted
by Mrs. Ervin Rader, took charge of
the various games and contests in
which all won prizes at some time or
another which was followed by a ball
game. Frieda Rader and her assist-
ants looked after the food and at
5.30 president Alvin Walper called
the members together and after sing-
ing the Homology requested them to
remain standing for one minute's sil-
ence in honor of Mr. Ernest Rader,
who passed away a few weeks ago,
after which all sat down to a sumptu-
ous meal. At this time special prizes
were given to Violet Rader for a
birthday remembrance of the Reun-
ion for person coming the greatest
distance; Allan Bills from Michigan,
for the youngest baby; Philip Rader
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rader,
and for longest married couple went
to Mr and Mrs. Edmund Waiver. Af-
ter an address by the president and
various members, the election of offi-
cers for next year was held which re-
sulted as follows: Presjdent, Alvin
Waiver, Secy, Treas., Mrs. Milford
Merrier; table .convenor, Frieda Rad-
er, The reunion then came to a close
ho singing the National Anthem.

Gerber--Boshart Wedding
Wearing a gown of net and lace,
Marcella Boshart became the bride of
Orlando Gerber, Zurich. The :bride is
the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gideon
l3osharit, Baden. Rev. J. H. Hess per-
formed the ceremony held in First
Mennonite Church, Kitc,hener. A set -
tin of white and pink dahlias and
gladioli was used, Mrs. J. H. Hess
and Miss Shirley Jantzi sang wedding
selections in duet. The bride's gown
was designed on Princess lines with
insertions of Chantilly lace. The net
skirt was bouffant and draped at the
hipline. Her ;bouquet was in soft .cas-
cade of white feathered carnations,
Miss Esther Shantz, of Baden, was
maid of honor and Miss Dolores Sla-
baugh of Milford, Ind. was 'brides-
maid. 'Both were gowned alike in or-
chid and lime green. Miss Ruth Clan-
sius and Miss Terryl Snyder, cousins
of the 'couple, were Slower girls,
wearing yellow taffeta gowns and
carried Italian, 'baskets id orchid
summer 'flowers. Best man was Rar-
told Erb of Zurich; ushers were Ken-
neth Brunk, Tavistock, and Gordon
Hess, Zurich. The reception was held
at the .home of the bride's parents.
For a trip to Montreal, Ottawa and
northern points, the bride wore a
chic navy suit with pink accessories
and summer flo,wers. They 'will re-
side in Baden on their return.
