H. R. Scott, Ont- ario minister of lands and forests,at Queen's Park, Toronto, on July 25th. London Chamber of Commerce had asked the province to take over the whole area as a provincial park. This is a much needed convenience among the million ,people which would serve the area. !Practically all summer' re- sorts in the district have become so congested with crofds, that no group can hold picnics, etc., only on certain times, and such a big area, properly developed as the Pinery would aff, ord this .accomOdation. Among the long list of •personell present with the delegation we notice the name of President of the Zurich Chamber of Commerce, Mr. R. W. IlIsley. This area is claimed tb be one of the last remaining undeveloped lake frontag- es on Lake Huron, Discussions were held on how to finance such a pro- ject as the laud anus!: 'be purchased from the 'Canada Company of Eng - hand 9 9 9 0 • 5. 9- 4' 4' 4'9 4' 4' i; 4' 5. 4' • 9 9 • 9 • 0 a '5 4' 4' 4? 10 Hardware Store HEVY AND ISHELF HARDWARE Paints Enamels Stains Plumbing Heating Tinsmithing -AIR CONDITIONING - OIL BURNERS We do Spray Painting: Barns, Roofs, Sheds Etc.
