SOFTBALL NEWS
Last ..Thursday night the Ilderton
girls were visitors of the Ladies'
Softball Team, and at the end of the
5th inning were leading 6-5. At this
time the game was called by the II-
derton umpire on account of a driz-
zling rain, and since it is necessary
•b,• play 7 innings in softball, the
game will be replayed this Friday
night. This promises to be a slight
bit of a grudge game, and a good
crowd is looked. for. Support the
girls by attending this game.

made a business call in town aionday.

Alvinston spent Sunday with Mr and
Mrs. Tied Steinbach.
Mr and Mrs Ted Foster of Detroit
were week -end visitors with her par-
ents, Mr 'and Mrs Louis Weber.
Mr and Mgrs Harvey Clausfus and
Mr. Orville Gerber spent the week-
end in Kitchener and other points.
Mr and Mrs Emery Bedard of God-
erich were visitors in town on Satur-
day.
The fine rains followed by canter
weather is greatly stimulating the
growth, in fact never do we rememb-
er of seeing things look better.

Grand Bend where he is helping at

daughter of Woodbridge were week-

ents, Mr and Mrs. Sylv. Witmer.
Monday, July 2nd will be observed
