Miscellaneous Shower
Re atives and friends gathered at
the A.I. Hall near Blake on Tuesday
e=vening in honor of the recent brid-
al couple, Mr and Mrs. Cleve Ging-
erich. A 'lovely program was arran-
ged, opening with several songs led
by Mr. E. Peachey. Five young lad-
ies favoured the audience with sing-
ing. Mr and Mrs. Gingerich were
asked to take the chairs prepared for
them on the platform. Mrs. Kenneth
Gingerich read the address and the
twin sisters, 'Misses Joy and Carol
Erb presented an overflowing decor-
ated basket for the occasion, with
beautiful and useful gifts. The brid-
al couple thanked everyone for the
kindness and how they will appreci-
ate the gifts while using them.
Refreshment were served and a
happy social evening was enjoyed.
The clock had ticked the time to say
"Adieu" in the beautiful moon light
evening, to return home.

at the ceremony in which Marie Mc-
Nair and Alex Voisin, Jr., exchang-
ed vows of marriage. The bride is the
daughter of Mr and Mrs. John Mc-
Nair, London and the groom is the
son of Mr and Mrs. Alex Voisin, of
Ailsa Craig. Miss Evelyn Hartman
played the wedding music. The
bride was gowned in white satin and
nylon, and a coronet of seed pearls
held the fingertip veil and •carried
spring flowers. The groom's sister,
Miss Florence Voisin, attended the
bride and Don Quesnel was grooms-
man. Following a reception, the cou-
ple left for a trip to Northern Ont-
ario. They will reside in McGillivray
Twp.

The '•Bride wore a dress of white
slipper satin with a nylon yoke edg-
ed with lace and lily point sleeves.
The gathered skirt was caught up to
show a lace :petticeoat extending into
a cathedral train. A beaded hedress
held her fingertip veil and she car-
ried a bouquet of Clius lilies.
Sister of the bride, Mrs. Pat. Cor-
riveau was matron of honor. The
bridesmaid was Miss Nettie Bedard,
sister of the groom. Groomsman was
Mir. Jerome Bedard, brother of the
groom and the ushers were Mr. Joe
Charrette, .brother of the bride, Mr.
Wilfred Bedard and Mr. Pat Car
rivea•u. The soloist, Miss 'Elaine Be-
dard was accompanied by Mr. Nel-
son Charrette.
Following the wedding, the recep-
tion was held at the home of the
bride where the „mothers received the
guests, wearing navy blue dresses
