IN MEMORIAM
Neeb—In loving memory of a dear
husband, father and grandfather,
Henry H. Neeh, *who passed away
one year ago, • June 17, 1950.
There's an open gate
At the end of the road
Through which each must go alone,
And there in a light we cannot see
Our Father claims His own;
Beyond the gate our loved one
Finds happiness and rest •
And there is comfort
In the thought
That a loving God knows best.
—Ever remembered by his wife, sons
*daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

The Voice of Temperance
Bombay, India, has had one year
of prohibition. As everywhere else it
was bitterly, opposed. Mr, B. G. Izher
chief minister of the state makes this
statement. "Not only has prohibition
done no harm, financial, material or
moral, but such experience as we
have had with it convinces us that it
has rendered a great service to the
bulk of the people. The gratitude of
persons whose lives were formally
ruined by Mello], and particularly of
their wives and children, is a rewara
which we are ,not pi-epared to ex-
change for the approval of the ill-
informed *enemies of ,prohibition,"
There speaks a statesmen who puts
'he well-being of his people ---which
wan being under -mined by alchol---
before anything else. That's why we
are eager to retain the Canada Tem-
peranee Act in Huron. It serves the
best interests of our poople—not to
provide lienor outlets,• • Ativt.

Zurich Loses to Dashwood
Last Friday evening the Dashwood
team played the locals on the Zurich
Diamond, and there was considerable
cheering and enthusiasm, but the
Iocals were a bit off ., that time, and
the visitors won by a nice margin.
Zurich has a lot of very young play-
ers and by another year of season-
ing they will have more confidence
in their' work, and may win more
games, we hope.

Before going West he farmed on the
Goshen line south, the farm now
owned by Mr and .'Mrs. Ted. Stein-
bach. To know David .Schnell was
to love him, a fine type of citizen in
any community, and he surely made
a host of friends' wherever he went.
