ADOPTS DAYLIGHT TIME
At the regular meeting of the Zur-
ich Police Trustees it was decided
to again adopt Daylight Saving Time
for the coaling season, to go into
effect on April 28 and end on Sept-
ember 29th. It was pointed out that
this move was necessary to again fall
in line with surrounding communit-
ies. The Board also decided to ask
the Huron County to repave the Co-
unty road which runs through the
Village of Zurich.

Gingerich—Gingerich
At the home of the bride's parents
Brother Albert Martin united in mar-
riage Jean Agnes Gingerich, daugh-
ter. of Mr and Mrs. Amos Gingerich,
to Kenneth Gingerich, son of Mr and
Mrs. Peter Gingerich, all of the
Bronson line, Stanley Township. The
room being beautifully decorated
with spring flowers and ferns. The
bride wore white flowered satin. Her
bridesmaid was Helen Gingerich,
who wore blue satin. Best man was
the twin brother 'of the Groom, Keith
Gingerich. The reception was serv-
ed to about 50 guests after which
the couple left for their wedding
trip to Niagara Fall: and other points

Elect Ball Officers
A nice number of local haeball
enthusiasts met at the Zurich Com-
munity Centre last Thursday evening
to re -organize a baseball team• for
the coming season. The election of
officers resulted as follows: President.

Schilbe; secretary -treasurer, Milton
Oesch; finance committee, Bill O'-
Brien, Lee willert and Charles Thiel.
Mr. Peter Fundy, a newcomer to
town, and a member of the local staff
of the Bank of Montreal, also a for-
mer player with the Galt Terriers,
v'as appointed manager of the tears.
His experience should round the loc-
als into a .;;tong contender this sea-
son, and some good ball games are to

places of educational interest. Col-
lections already made this year have
