ed in Ireland,. and many wear the
green emblem on that day.

were Sunday visitors with relatives
in this vieinityi.
Mrs. Edward" Datars, who has been
a patient in Viateriw Hospital, Lon-
don, returned to her home last Wed-
nesday and is improving nicely,

family of St: Joseph; Mr and Mrs.
Ted 'Mittleholtz andCarol of Zurich
were Sunday visitors with Mr and
Mrs. Kuno Hartman, Goshen south.
Mr and Mrs. Lloyd 'Hope and dau-
ghters Faith and Jane, also Mrs.
Grace Stelck all of Streetsville, flew
to Florida last Fridal3,, where they
will bask in the warmth of the sunny
south climate for a month. •
To Hold Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Huron
County Trappers' Aasoeiation will he
held on Saturday March 17, at 8.30
p.m. in the Agricultural Board room,
Clinton. .Election of officers will be
held. Door prize, everybody welcome

Mr. Bruce Koehler of Hay Town-
ship, near He.nsall, has purchased' the
farm near his own. farm Trom the
Dr. Moir Estate, at the auction sale
which was held last week.
Spring is Here
Spring really seems to be here in
all its welcome,. after the usual win-
ter months of cold weather. Many
robins can be heard chirping around
Don't'forget to put out a few breach_
crumbs for them, as suitable food is
hard for them to get at present. The
maple season is on and some good
runs of sap have been experienced.
Evangelical Church
The :Lenten Evangelistic services
as sponsored ty ^i"ihe rAricli, Dash-
wood and Crediton Evangelical. U. B.
Churches, • jointly, are progressing
very favourably. Each of the three
congregations will worship separately
lar their own churches next Sunday
morning -'but will unite in a • great
union service at Dashwood .next ,Sun-
day evening. The three churcn dm -
will. be in attendance and they
will render several vocal selections
as at union choir for this. concluding
ser:'ice of the series. A joint youth
service will also be featured at'Dash-
wood next Friday evening. Dr. E. 5.
Faust, the guest speaker, has rend-
ered an outstanding ministry to the
churches here by his challenging ane. -
sages which will long he remember-
ed Eby the good seed he has sown and
the fruit it shall bear in years to
come.
OBITUARY
Mrs. Birdie Irene Dagg
On Friday evening, March 2nd,
death cane very suddenly to Mrs:
Dagg in Wellesley Hospital, Toronto,
where she was undergoing treatment.
Mrs. Dagg was born in Leeds County
on May 27th, 11895, a daughter of the
late Mr and Mrs George Derbyshire.
In 1.9120 she was married to Ernest M.
Dagg and since that time has resided
in Western Ontario, nine of those
years were spent in Zurich where Mr
Dagg hylas manager of the Bank o E
Montreal.
Surviving are her husband, one son
Lorne Milton, on the staff of Etobi-
coke Collegiate, and two daughters,
Twyla Irene, R.N., of Port Colborne
General Hospital and Marilyn Ole •at
home; two, brothers, Byron of Frank-
ville and Lorne of Elgin, Ont. Mrs
Dagg was a member of Teeswater
United Church and also a member of
Coronation. Rebekah Lodge. The
funeral service was conducted from
her late residence by Rev. David J.
Proctor on Monday, March 5th, at
2:30 p.m., with interment in the
Teeswater Cemetery.
Henry M. Willert
Henry M. Willert, 84, of Dashwood
well-known retired farmer, died on
March. 8th, in Victoria Hospital, Lon-
don. Surviv'ar,g aare two sons, Gar-
net, Hay Township; (Percy, of Zurich,
and four daughters, Mrs. Fred Wei -
berg, Stephen Twp; Mrs. Adolph Kel-
ler, Hay Twp; Mrs. Aaron Hestem-
ayer and Mrs. Lloyd Rader, Dash-
wood. The remains rested at the T.
Harry Hoffman. Funeral Home, Dash-
wood, and services were conducted
Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. L. I -lig;
inell, in Zion Lutheran Church, and
interment made in the Lutheran
Bronson Line Cemetery,
