Zurich Hockey Teams had a great

• half of a doubleheader played in the
Seaforth Arena, the Zurich Lions
Midgets defeated Monkton by a
score of 7-6. The Zurich Intermed-
iates followed up by defeating the
Lucan (Irish Six) ,by n identical
score in the second game of this big
doubleheader. After trailing 4-1 at
the end of the first period and 5-3
at the end of the second period, the
locals roared back in the third. to
tie the game at 6-6. In the overtime,
Quesnel was the hero of the game as
he fired the winning goal on a neat
pass from Stade. Goal scorers for
Zurich were Quesnel 2, Deslauriers
2, Stade,
Gignac and McKinley one
each. Added to the fact that 110
scored the tying goal, Stade was the
iron horse man for Zurich, as he
played the entire game with the ex-
ception of one minute in the over-
time period. Games such at; this,
are certainly crowd pleasers, and

Dr. M4Master of.qaaforth, who is
well known in 'the local Club, and
made' a, vero nice and 'impressive
address on how he always enjoys to
visit the Zurich Lions; •also gave a
short summary of a flying trip he
and Mrs.. 1410Master had to the south
where the Doctor had the pleasure
of visiting the largest Lions Club in
Medco, where the. President of that
Land of Sunshine is also a ;member.
He told us about the wonderful din-
ner that was served. The meeting
was held from two to four in the af-
ternoon, as most Mexicans take those
two hours off for recreation every
day. Lion Ted. (Dr) Keast then
introduced the guest speaker, Dr.
Kennedy of London, who had some
intere8ting slide pictures on bone
work,. how it is, new being done, how
fractured bones are tied together or
pulled together with what looks like
tlfe ,old wooden coach screw, but of
course these are all made of stainless
steel, anti become part- of your body,
also :howed how broken limbs are
now being supported with irons and
instead of lying in bed for months in
some cases, in a few weeks now they
are UP and going around. At the
conclusion of his interesting talk,
Mon Alvin Wainer greatly thanked
Dr. Kennedy for his fine remarks
and illustrated pictures.
