OBSERVANCE OF YOUTH WEEK The annual observance of Youth Week was duly observed by a com- Ymunit3iLL-- outh gathering at the Evan- gelical $tL 13. Church, Zurich, last Sunday evening.. To begin with, the pastor, H. E. Roppel preached a sermon on, "Friendship with Jesus,” directed especially to the young peo- ple who had come to the worship service. This was followed by an 'after aneeting in the church base- ment in the form of a Fireside Soc- ial hour with Miss Nola Krueger, local youth director, in cAarge. The progranr was featured by a lively sing -song of hymns and rounds, plus several interesting contests. The sev- eral groups of young people repres- enting Grand Bend,. Crediton, Dash- wood and Zurich, brought a total of approximately 75 young people to- gether here for this occasion. A de- licious lunch was served by the Zur- ich group after which a ,benedictory prayer and parting song 'brought the meeting to a fitting ,close. the meal is ready!
